This special edition of Freeloader friday is an episode I did on the Mandela Effect which only subscribers have access to. I made a video with this episode and never shared it so I am making it available for FREE today to all my freeloading friends.

The Mandela Effect is a phenomenon where a large group of people believes that something happened when it did not, or they remember it differently. It is called the Mandela Effect because many people believed Nelson Mandela died in the 1980s while in prison, but he actually died in 2013 as a free man. The phenomenon has two popular conspiracy theories – time travel and parallel universes – but these are unlikely. One example of the Mandela Effect is the Berenstain Bears, which many people remember as Berenstein Bears. Another is Mr. Monopoly, who some remember as having a monocle when he never did. It is strange how the brain can make people remember things differently, even if they are not true. For more examples of the Mandela Effect, visit Mikeypodcast.com
