Tonight, we talk about past lives and how people are always someone spectacular, like a hero, a queen or a dragon or something. But, we’re all really just some sort of peasant that ended up face down in the mud while our lord (or lady) pressed their muddy boots down onto the back of our heads, making sure that we will never become anything more than just a mud dwelling peasant. There’s an allegory there, I just don’t know what it is.
