Still a great unanswered question of the universe, as I haven’t received a satisfactory answer yet. Why in the world does Indiana reward teams without a single regular season win with a playoff game (and possibly a home playoff game)? That’s what happens sometimes with their ‘open-draw’ system of determining playoff positions, rather that using regular season records to determine the postseason.
